A documentary about what happens when a no-name filmmaker from the backwoods of Hampshire got the chance to make a film for Steven Spielberg... In Spring 2007 I got through to the second round of selection for the Fox TV show "On The Lot", having submitted my film "Ten Thousand Pictures of You". A kind of X-Factor for film directors, "On The Lot" was created by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett, and the sixteen finalists were to battle it out, making short films in Hollywood, the winner getting a million dollar development deal with Dreamworks. Having beaten out 12,000 other hopefuls and down to the last hundred or so, I was asked to make a short film from scratch, in seven days, starting immediately, which would be judged by Steven Spielberg. That film was "Unpossible". MISSION:UNPOSSIBLE is the true story of those seven days...
